Steerer lenght vs headtube lenght

Hi All,

Trying to figure out the minimum steerer tube lenght for a threaded 1 1/8 fork to fit into a headtube that is 18cm long.

Threaded headsets start at about 32mm stack height, but 35mm plus is more typical. Add the stack height to the headtube length to find the steerer length you require.

e.g. 180 + 35 = 215mm

Amazing technical document! Who would have thought a headset could be such a subject of study, the fork chapter can easily go over 100 pages then! Huh
