I can't remember what the programe was but a similar thing was done over here, they even had a woman ask a man for help and then tell him she was stealling it and he still did it.

i dont know if i have viewed this with the wrong frame of mind but from that i take away an instructional video to the crims of new york to get stealing bikes as no body will bat an eyelid( unless you use a grinder)

He was using the grinder for 9 minutes before being approached, a real thief would be long gone by then.

Only 5% of bikes stolen in this country ever get returned to their owner.
