STATION TO STATION PART 3 Proper retro chip run.

Something went pop… words can’t express how gutted I felt when this happened. Fortunately I was in such amusing company that my spirits were lifted to a higher plain….
The only good thing I can say about the day is the fact that the locals were so distracted by the Raleigh no one paid any attention to my fail..View attachment 559156View attachment 559157

😲 wow, doesn't look like a total lost cause though, what are the plans for it, or have you hung it up trying to forget about it?

Going to try gluing and a couple of rivets…

So. After the much shortened and dangerous second instalment, Peachy and I decided to ride our oldest, simplest, most stylish steeds. Combined age of bikes and riders, 182 years.

Remarkably similar bikes. Original Andy Powell (Overbury’s) and fully restored Claud Butler Canyon. Both an absolute pleasure to ride at our sedate conversational pace over unchallenging terrain. Peachy will be along to describe the route once he’s had a sleep in the car after consuming more carbohydrates than in the previous six months. We bimbled about a bit, took in the sights, sat by the harbour, pootled along the pier, rode the Khyber Pass, and generally had a lovely relaxing day.
