i hate sram mechs and gripshift shifting but if i could put up with it and wasn't paranoid about buying for stupid money something that is likely to break i'd love that for my fat chance, it would look awesome with the fatlanta decals

That's quite a lot of pennies. They don't make that in normal auctions or even when sold in the for sale.

Apart from the fancy paintscheme on these, are the SRAM 9.0 SL any good?

I understand they are lighter than most - but functionally, are they any cop?

i used to see these rear mech snap quite often back in the day, they died across the face plate and the knuckle hence my post above about likely to break.

i destroyed 2 mechs in less than a month, both 9.0 and both rather costly if i remember correctly :? i would have goneback to shimano on the 1st breakage but didnt want to sling the non-shimano compatable shifters

NEver used SRAM 1:!1 stuff myself.
