Its local to me and has a few nice bits on it, but seems rather steeply priced for what could be a fairly naff frame.

ignore the frame, those parts are easy worth 250. he hasnt listed the control tech bars, x-ray shifters, speedmax tyres, poss chicken stix levers (?), forks arnt terrible and the stem and bottle cage look a bit trick.
replace the frame with a nice bit of steel and youd have a pretty good bike.

Surely all depends on the what nick the componets are? Rims look pretty worn - and difficult to tell how good the ring teeth are. Once start having to dump the consumable bits the whole ain't worth a ton - or at least not without a lot of work selling it on in dribs and drabs.

I reckon the market is too limited for this sort of stuff for it easily or quickly to fetch more than ton and a half. For example, I've just picked up a vgc 1 y.o. Stumpjumper for a mate, who knows little about bikes but does ride a lot, for 300 quid. Despite my advice (or perhaps because of it!) all he "wanted" was front bounce and discs and less than 350!

I know the guy well at Barnes Cycles! Could prob get some dollar off if anyones really wants? The kit is very nice, frame... its ok!
