Gentlemen please - this is a bike forum - the only things to be discussed are based around the best rides you've had etc. :shock:
To the job in hand - :facepalm: got it sorted, bb installed without any of the correct tools which can also be said of the headset - the cups went in the freezer then a bit, and I mean only a bit, of persuasion and in they went no drama's at all - no headset press or profanities - happy days indeed.
Only the crank-bolts to tighten (haven't got a sprocket with thin enough walls so LBS required) then the fine tuning and some photo's for the thread over on Readers Road Bikes and that's my first full restoration completed....oh and to change my signature....it's been emotional.
