Spotted on the street

This klunker-style build is something a bit different to the usual. It's a shame the saddle and shifter aren't quite in keeping with the look
I like it a lot!

My general philosophy is to try not to criticize a saddle of a ridden bike. I have used some horrible looking perches, but in that situation, they serve a more noble purpose than appearance. In my mind, comfort is king, because when I'm sitting on it, I can't see it anyways 🙃

Not on the street but spotted on the train, the owner had just accompanied the vintage London to Brighton rally (for cars from before 1905).
Its a 1889 Singer made in Coventry and is one of 6 left in existence. On trend wide bars, fixed wheel and single rod front brake. Solid rubber tyres on metal rims. He rode 58 miles on it on Saturday, chapeau sir!

My 'vintage' 1996 bike in the background. Also i learnt today mine is considered vintage, as are bikes 25-99 years old, older than a 100 is considered antique apparently, so at 136 years old and still rolling it a working antique, amazing.
