Spotted in Scotland

I spent the weekend in Scotland riding the Pre 65 Scottish trial, when I was walking through Kinlochleven on Thursday evening I spotted someone wearing a retrobike jersey - last thing I expected to see in the highlands. Was it you??

A couple of names you might be familiar with did well in the trial - Scott Dommett finsihed third on his dad's BSA ( Scott used to go to mountain bike races and do trials demo's on his mountain bike). Duncan McDonald - co - founder of Pace did well on his Ariel.

Yea!!, that was me
we were on hol-did 900 odd miles in our '70 Karmann Ghia without a hitch.

I managed to talk to Scott Dommett and mentioned Retrobike after a quick chat about the old days- Wendover bash and all that; really nice bloke.
Saw Duncan too but no real chance to chat, although i need to go and see him about my Cub!!
Wore the Retrobike top a lot but no-one mentioned it-maybe it smelt-we were camping!!
