Spokes

Not necessarily. It's all about the rim and hub dimensions that define the spoke length. Then there's the drive and non drive differences too. You might get lucky if rims and or hubs are similar but best to get some measurements and use a spoke length calculator, or speak to someone who has access to one in the trade that can confirm the spike lengths you need.

You've then of course got different quality of spokes to consider, plain guage, single, double butted etc. Not all spokes are the same.

Another question mate I found a spoke calculater and it asks for gear side and non gear side of hubs width in mm now I would assume the gear side on back hub is were the cassette is but it's asking same question for front hub is this right or should I just put the measurement in cheers

Ok mate I found a calculator sapin it's asking for hub diameters drive side non drive side nowI understand that for back hub but it's asking the same for front hub is there a drive side on front hub mine diameter is the same on both sides there hope ti not them newer hubs were oneside is bigger than other thanks for help

Same for front hub, drive side/non drive side. Just refers to the drive side of the bike. Drive = gears = right hand side of 99.999% of bikes.
