Spokes for GT Hadley hub and Mavic 217

The time has come to have my wheels rebuilt but I am sourcing the spokes to cut down on time and overall costs with my very helpful LBS

I will be using GT Hadley hubs and Mavic 217 rims....I know that I want to use stainless DT Swiss spokes and from what I can gather believe that double butted is the way to go....However I would really appreciate any advice in regard to which gauge to use or any pitfalls to avoid

If you want to build then for dependabiltiy go 14/15ga. If you are after weight savings go 15/16ga.

Thanks very much GM - much appreciated .....dependability is absolutely what I'm after....for weight saving I'll wear a different jacket
