SPINERGY Rev-X disassembly question

Hello dear reader,

I'm new here,
but been browsing on this nice forum for some times now.

I recently bought a rear wheel spinergy rev X.
Its in good condition but im stuck removing bits off it to rebuild it again.
I never worked with this wheel before so bare with me

The casset seem to be broken off as i can see only a black coated metal ring.
Which seems to be glued on the rim.
looking at sites I dont see this this ring on any of them.
Also i'm not able to remove the shaft.

If Spinergy don't support the Rev-X and Roxs any more, just the fibre spoked stuff, I know the guy that designed them left to start Topolino nearby: http://www.topolinotech.com/
He might not be able to help with parts, but might be a good guide.

I thought the easiest way to disassemble a Rev-X was to ride it.
