Anyone ever used Speedsprings as an alternative/replacement for the elastomers in early Rockshox forks. Thinking of getting some for my FSX's.
Are there any other known alternatives
Cheers, Carl

used some in a pair of manitou 3`s

pretty smooth action on them , rebound not too fierce

couple of sets sold last week for about £25

I ran them in my Pace 35's they didnt make much difference to the elastomers but we are talking about 80mm of travell here.

Indecision, indecision

I run a spring in one leg and an air cartridge in the other of both my FSXs - never really trusted an all air set up!

I can 'understand' and feel a spring - air's a lil bit 'too' plush for me (brought up on winter elastomers...) and I always have a minor worry about both carts failing out in the field...

i quickly changed to springs BITD as unlike elastomers they dont explode into a moosh of elastomer. later judys are good to rob the springs from :)
