Speedplay Frog pedals - Stainless Steel with cleats

One pair of Speedplay MTB pedals, stainless steel axel. 257G for the pair. with cleats. Been ridden less than 40 miles in the past. I've had these sitting in the loft for a good few years but they are in top condition.

How are these on the knees? Mine are very broken and use crank bros at the moment but keen to find something more knee friendly if at all possible. If these are knee kind I'm up for them.
