for a shipment (frameset)from holland to the uk costed me 26 euro's...

lucky you! you've obviously not heard of UK stupidly expensive postal rates? to ship this frameset in the UK would cost me £13. I'll have to enquire about overseas. will get back to you.

I just posted a frameset in the uk using parcels2go and managed to pay just under £8 (DHL). The trick was to put the frameset in a kids bike box to keep the dimensions down. They are very cheap and have sent and recieved a few full bikes with no problems costed about £20 each time.

That's a good tip - will definately try them - as parcel force are picky on boxes over 1.5m these days and much more expensive than that too.

i've sent full bikes using same people for £13 WITHIN the UK. the cost seems to mega rise when you want to ship overseas tho..

very true, cost me £32 to post a set of rock shox to Canada by fed ex :shock: :shock:
