Here is a fairly nice example of the better earlier version of the big hit frames made by specialized, it does have some battle scars as expected but nothing nasty and most marking on the rear chainstay as again you would expect.

Would make a great looking retro build being chrome, they made a few colours of these and this one was always my favorite...Iv left on for the next owner, the raceface diablous headset, bottom bracket, hope seat clamp and seat post. All bushing are OK on the rear section, wants a new rear mech hanger which are cheap on ebay! obviously no cracks or dents

Same listing just this time iv decided to include the original fox rear shock that was in it.

Will be posted with parcelforce48 for peace of mind not horrid hermes...Any other questions just ask!

To be honest I was debating between this one and the Club Roost, ended up with the DH8 cause money's hella tight right now. If you still have it in like a month I'll be happy to take it off your hands, after last weekend at Hamsterley I'm thinking my hardtail days are over.

Hi, not sure what the DH8 was up for never been a fan of the roost stuff myself but if it was cheap why not, If its still here mate in a month sure...I was gonna say if you wanted it now il throw in the seat and post that was on it! Cheers.

It seemed like a very decent frame and the seller is a solid guy (I've bought off him before) and made me a good deal too so I rolled with it.

Out of pure curiosity, why do you generally not fancy Roost stuff? This thing in particular looks beefier built than my Stinky, massive bearings everywhere instead of tiny bushings in some linkages...

That Specialized of yours, I'd love to have it. Currently British Gas made sure my finances are less than ideal tho, greedy basterds!

Fair enough then well tbh it was seen as lower end stuff, I remember a mate of mine snapping one their DH frames quite dramatically it was rather funny actually also I know how you feel mate they rinced me last month I told them straight this month or they won't get payed you've got to be firm with those walkers! Haha..

By all accounts this frame that I'm getting should be bombproof, several ppl claim crashing them hard and the frame just laughs it off. I'm a lightweight and I'm not a good or brave rider, my brakes tend to hate me for this, I'm thinking I'll be fine there.

Still gonna grab yours later tho, as a replacement for my Stinky cause it's a small frame and I'm a fairly tall dude.

Yeah well we used to ride pretty hard back in the day and the frames were all experimental at that point but yeah unless your jumping alot you should be fine. No worries if the ad states its still up when you want it, it's still for sale. Get rid of the stinky frame it may pay for half of this. Cheers.
