Nearly finished building my '95 FSR (just the damn cables to set up... :? ) but I have no idea about the starting point for shock pressure.

Can anyone help please?
It's a Fox Alps 4R and I weigh around 10 stone/64 kg

Cheers

shock pressure

Hi mate
These shocks take a fairly high pressure. The best way is to set it by the amount of sag. Will check my stuff and get back to you this afternoon but Its around 15 - 20% of travel. I have used my FSX fork pump, same as a rock shox I am sure.
Will get back once I get home.

Thanks, but it's the rear Fox Alps shock I need info on. Great site BTW, I'll be using that in the future! :D

Cheers Jamie! I'm experimenting at the moment and 120 psi seems to work but I don't want to under/over pressure the shock and damage it.
