after selling my road bike a couple of months ago, I kind of miss road riding and want to buy a retro roadbike. I always liked the specialized epic's of the early nineties, but I have no idea how they ride. Anyone who owns/owned on of these? Any experiences on durability? I never forget how someone on a cadex mtb (also steel lugs carbon tubing) crashed very hard during an mtb race cause the tubing came loose from the lug on the toptube... The guy was lucky and had only a scratch, but the frame was ready for the bin/wallhanging.
