Probably a very long shot, but I sold my specialized 'shark fin' disc brake adapter a while ago now (which I've come to regret!), and I don't think the chap I sold it to comes on here much anymore, so reaching out to this community to see if anyone else has one lying around they're willing to part with?

Twain,here are some pictures and a description of how it works.
1 the inside face of the carrier facing the spokes
2 The outside of the carrier ,the side you see.
3 and 4 show the bearing assembly that the carrier rotates on
5 Shows a standard shimano axle with a standard shimano quick release through the axle.You may not need this.
6 and 7 show the set up on a hope pro 2 hub ,though it works with any hub that has a through axle ( the axle acts as the through axle,which you can see fitted.
The set up also works on standard hubs ,BUT,you have to remove the spacer from the left side to accomodate the carrier.
This axle is slightly oversize at 140 mm.it could easily be shortened to 135mm.
I used this on 2 bikes one with 135mm dropout spacing and one with 140mm dropouts .
On the 135mm dropouts I simply flexed the chainstays out to accomodate the wheel with no issues,however if your bike is 135mm you might want to shorten the axle by 5mm.I never bothered and ran both this on both bikes without issue.My frames were a 1993 steel stumpjumper (135)
and the WTB Bon tempe (titanium) in the original image (140)
Image 4 shows the bearing assembly which pops out for cleaning and greasing and takes about 5 minutes.You might notice that one side sticks out more than the other ,if you want to run 135mm spacing only then you could if you wish have this part reduced by 5mm,though as I have said I never bothered .
I won’t lie,removing the rear wheel is a bit more work than usual.
You first release the quick release then pull the axle through the hub which allows the wheel to drop out
As for the stabilizer arm,the answer is ,no,it is not adjustable.
There are 2 ways to use it,my best mate also had one of these and he connected the end to his seat tube clamp,the bolt you see on this one was something I made for my bike ,the Bon Tempe,so you might need to work out a way to fix the end to your frame.
Or you can have the stabilizer shortened then redrilled and tapped so it fits onto the canti boss ,which I have seen done several times.
Either way you will have to do a little bit of work to make it fit your frame,you may be happy to do this or say ,it is too much work.
The eye on the end of the support strut fits onto a standard canti boss
Either way ,over to you Twain.
I would like £40 ,or make me an offer and you get the carrier and obviously the axle and quick release.
