Specialized Crossroads BB size

Building up a 1994 Crossroads XP. Anyone got one of the Crossroads from this era?
Mine came without a bottom bracket is anyone able to confirm what the stock size was?

I'm planning to go 1x with it so might be a bit academic but switching triples to the single crank I've got has lined up pretty well so far so thinking it's a starting point at least...

If you don't have a crankset decided, no need to know the size of the original BB, apart from the shell, which is easy to measure. Either 73mm or 68mm (likely, being a hybrid). The spindle length will have to match the specs of whatever crankset you go for...

cheers yeah. i should have specified spindle length really. I've got a couple of options crank wise. either an ebay 1x with no specs or an lx compact triple (which needs a chainring so perhaps not the no brainer it seems). was thinking spindle length will be relative to the frame though? hence looking for a baseline with the original bb.
