Specialized Allez Epic

I stumbled across a bike auction today, most of the bikes were old nails that went for about £12, but one guy went off with a Specialized Allez Epic from 1990ish, carbon tubes with alu lugs, downtube shifters, Shimano 600 groupset, even an Avocet computer!
All for £47! If I'd had any money on me I'd have bid for it but not sure how much I'd have gone to.

Anyone know what they're worth?

Got me a brand new 2006 Dawes Sardar for £65 once - It matched the identical one I already had that I'd just paid some £600 for the month before...

Anyway, criminally cheap and you should have bought it!

I bought mine for 190, frame, forks, and basic Campag Mirage, no wheels.

Depending on what the kit was hanging from it I'd say around £300. Frame alone could be worth that and more if minty and someone was looking for one. As a guide, an early 90s steel allez (the red one) with 105SC groupset would probably fetch 200/250 all day long.
