Spd's or toe clips on a 92" ?

So I virtually have all the bits for my 92 single speed dyna tech build but have a dilemma over what pedals to fit. I would like spd's and have a set of 04 shimanos. Would this be wrong and should I fit a set of flats with toes clips?

Opinions please.......

Check my build thread for info dude. Mainly old school bits - atac stem, suntour levers, x lite post, flite saddle, cantis, dx crank etc.

i built my rc100 period correct, along with the pedals clips & straps.
i knew after the 1st ride i'd have to go with spd's.
i found the pedals & toe straps too fiddly.
i think with bikes if they are going to be fully functional go with what suits you best.

Fit spd's. I remember buying a pair from Evens Waterloo Dec 90 the same day i went for a job interview.

By '92, most serious xc riders were running SPD pedals. Are you a serious rider? Are you? ARE YOU?

Surely it's not going to be catalogue if it's SS build, so go with the type of pedals you prefer?

I had my 1st SPD's in 92, they were commonplace among racers waay before that.
