Yes - hoping to do 16th if it's on and as long as there's a sufficient spread of riders for my inexperience on a MTB not to be a liability to other riders.

We'll have to see what the weather brings - the FOD is higher up and it's surprising how snow and ice can lie there even after it's long gone elsewhere. Between Christmas and New Year the only carpark open was the central one at the Visitor Centre at Beechenhurst because of the ice.

We'll see .....but I hope it can go ahead.

See link below for cycle centre - not sure though that the postcode helps with SATNAV location in this case - I have a feeling it's not accurate enough. Straight forward to find with the map though. Parking charge is £3 at the centre.

I'm afraid the combination of current weather and long range weather forecast (not always accurate but maybe not too far off) means that if people can get there it may not be particularly rideable.

We're therefore going to postpone, will advise when we can organise another date.

Right then, just about to move to Gloucs/Hereford border, just off M50. Will keep an eye on this thread and see what people are up to. Aim to play a lot as hoping to have most of summer off.

Been round the wyre forrest today and it was kin freezing :shock:

Were gonna do it again in a couple of weeks to get our bearings sorted then I'll try and get a retro ride together.
