Does anyone have a Tranz-x security key for sale or I can borrow?
Mine got lost (I left my saddle bag open on a ride and found out at the bottom of the mountain!!!) and I need to take off my front wheel :?

Jam a screwdriver blade in there it should lock enough to take it of.
or as you're probably not going to be using them again, mole/vice grips on the other side will get it off.

I'll try the screwdriver and mole grips. And no, I won't be using them again. Think I'll get some Halo's which use a standard allen-key.

Just a reply to say that the grips worked to get them off :twisted:
SO, if anyone want some security skewers which have clamp marks on one end and no key, they're yours

Can you rip the axle part out and use that for something, or is the bolt head part of them?

The bolt-head is part of the axle.
