Hi,
I'm in need of a front mech to "Finish" a budget full sus project!!!
31.8 or 34.9mm top swing, top pull!!
Needs to be 8spd friendly as the LX Mega 9 that was on the frame when i got it just won't run with the rest of my 8spd parts bin

Hmm, fairly sure I've a dual pull 34.9 for 8-9 speed (I've ran it with both)

Ok very interested!!! Had loads of trouble with the LX mega 9; both in cage width and length, set it up at the correct height and it clashes with the middle ring so moved it up to clear the clash and it's so narrow you can only shift 2-3 rear sprockets before it rubs, it's driving me round the bend!!!! :x

I know what you mean, Had the same issue with another mech. I'll get pics and such of what I've got.. IIRC it's a LX, Deore and XT (Might have 2 Deore now..)

I'll have some answers for you tomorrow sometime.
