Sorry not retro, Opinions needed for a friend.

Not bad bikes, priced well, but their carbon frames are made to price, & do contain elements of resin glue. this is not a bad thing thing, its just a cheaper way of producing the framesets. But you dont get the genuine feel that some high qaulity carbon frames can give.

hah! i remember mike kluge, legend. i didnt know he started focus. i didnt mean to say they were bad bikes at all, they are no different from lots of other brands doing good bikes these days :D

sorry

That is an extremely light bike for a long travel disc brake bike-the head tube angle of 70-70.5 is kinda steep, so it will be a good cross-country race bike, but not as stable in the high-speed downhill regime.

Quite a bit of an unknown to me, but if you ask on here you might get some more info. Good friendly forum for more modern stuff.

I'm from there & found you guys through a post about a retro bike on uk-mtb.com, I'm possibly about to have a mid life crisis by buying a '93 Orange Clockwork ;)

Focus normally get pretty good write ups in *cough* Cycling Plus *cough*, but thats their road range. Always seem to be good value for money. Know nothing about their MTBs though

No idea on the bike itself... but I have to admit, I do quite like the single gold and red spoke in an otherwise black spoked wheel

Know nothing about them at all. Have a friend here at work that bought one of their road bikes through Wiggle and loves it though.

Tim

And Wiggle would endorse rubbish......
