Step away from retrobike....

Go be with your son.

I think I am taking what you said as being arsey , that I am/was on Retrobike while my son is ill in hospital.

I have a daughter of 7 aswell and so I can't be at the hospital all the time with son as have her to look after. So if I was on here I was at home with her. So while home with her I would go on the Internet .

If I could be with him the whole time I would as is very tough when your kids are ill.

Thanks guys he is now home still weak and we are sat watching the football with covers on sofa.

No need to take offence, or roll your eyes.

I also have a young son (a while off being school age) who has health issues, that's involved several periods of being in hospital at such a young age.

And all I was trying to say, is that there's a time to leave internet forums alone for a bit and be there for them.

If you've done all you can to make sure that everybody has been contacted about any deals, then leave the net alone, and spend time with them when they're ill - that's all I was trying to say - sometimes we all need perspective, and farting around on retrobike is truly trivial, when you could spend quality time with your kid(s) who may well appreciate it when they're ill.

As I said, I'm not saying this as somebody with no experience of young 'uns with health problems - it's having that experience that means I can empathise. So don't take offence, at me, or what I wrote - stand back and think that all this is a bit trivial in comparison, and it can wait, and you can come back to it when everything is a bit better.

I was only posting up to say to folk that if i had forgot to pay for anything or someone was wanting for something, that this is why not been able to.

With all the fuss about deals going pear shaped and people not keeping in contact, i thought i would. Now seems that is wrong.

I had a few spare minutes to post up and let people know, what was happening. As quite a few people are FRIENDLY on here and had pm'd me for updates , i posted up in to let them know instead of replying to each pm, there could look in here.

Sorry to hear about your child hope he soon gets better.

On the other hand, you need to take a mental break now and then as well, to recharge. In reply to Neil.
I get that - and I'm not having a go - I'm just saying, sometimes perspective is anything.

Stuff like this, is truly trivial.

Me too. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. Best we can hope for is that nothing further goes wrong, and he can live a reasonably normal life.
