Route starts near the Flouch inn. Ignore signposts for Langsett Reservoir when the path forks and continue south. Will come out near Howden reservoir which holds a full days riding in itself....
Trip back to visit the folks next year is becoming more and more likely, the more I think about this epic trip..

Chris, the route was the one used for last years Cut Gate Killer and this years 3 Tribes ride. Have a look at the Aftermath Threads in NE&Yorks section. It's not somewhere to ride alone or in winter. Me and two friends got caught out up there in the winter of 87. It took much longer to get over than we expected and we ended up abandoning our bikes. We made it to the Ladybower Inn well after midnight and Andy ended up in hospital with hypothermia. Not good.
Penistone used to be rich hunting grounds for me and my mates when out looking for girls. There were some absolute belters up there- very pretty and not shy at all
Penistone Fact: Happy Mondays' Bez was dating a Penistone girl for many years and could usually be found in the local pubs on High Street.
