Something to play on- Phase 1.2 Trials Bike

So, scouring ebay as you do and picking up on weird things that have parts you were looking for. I found this:

Memories come flooding back of hopping round my town on various small bike, so a bid is made and it's mine.

Little bit of tweaking:

Then find another frame and forks so end up with this:

Think it'll be going geared soon, as I can't ride to anywhere at the moment without my legs spinning round at 1000's of rpm. Also looking to swap the brakes for some hydraulic ones. Really fancied Hope brakes (mono mini's) but will see how things go. I do hopefully have some Magura Tomac's on their way, which would match nicely.

If you are using it for intended purpose, surely maguras should have stayed?!

There was only one Magura, and the front one was an Avid arch v-brake. Aim was to get a play bike for as little as possible. Selling the rear Magura paid for 1/3 of the original bike and I already had the discs. They do the job nicely though, not had any slippage from them. The Blue HS33 wouldn't have matched the new frame either, haha
