Someone you love scratching something you love

retribution...............no need

There is no need for retribution, just tell her that its no longer any good for what you need it for, and your not mad as these things happen.
But, and this is where it gets good, you tell her you will just have to replace it, get a new frame and keep the other one as a backup.
Worth a shot.

Remember the glass is always half full.

how big is the scratch? massive divorce-threatening scratch? Or smaller you-do-the-dishes-for-the-rest-of-the-year-and-don't-complain-when-I-say-I'm-going-out-for-a-ride-at-a-time-that's-not-convenient-for-you scratch?

I once came home to be told "i've scratched your bike". My immediate response was aslong as it's NOT the Ritchey. Turned out it was my full suss klein which had been be dropped along an external wall and left a hefty scratch. I wasn't too bothered, the culprit was very apologetic and i just left it at that.
The Ritchey may have been different, i still have rage with myself if i nick it

Ed - there is only one solution, find another, dare I say m*nty Yo and treat yourself!

You'll feel much better for it believe me.

Mrs Neilll has a bad habit of leaning the clothes airer up against my 'Dale....ok probably my fault for keeping bikes in the spare bedroom (but why not   )

The frame is quite battle scarred so i'm not bothered but every now and again it gets close to my minty turquoise ti-stix and I have to keep moving it.

If she did the same thing with the Funk I would have to start a riot though
