Someone please save me the grief… orbit tourer

So I've been out & measured up my Orbit tourer from the same era- with 531 tubes & cantilever brakes. I'd say it's the next size up - It's approx 56.5cm CTC seat tube. The head tube is 15.5 cm- see pics. You can ask the seller to measure the Head Tube- there's less scope there for getting it wrong. If it's 15cm or more, leave it. If it's 14 cm or so you'd be i with a better bet if getting the right size for you...
Thanks for the info that’s very helpful

I just went out to my 22 inch CB with a meter rule and had a go. 23” makes sense for the seat tube including bottom bracket shell. The top tube not including seat tube/head tube measures 20.5” so I’m inclined to agree with @bikeworkshop in that it’s a 22.5” C-C top tube as it would make it half an inch bigger than mine. I’m not sure how the seller has managed to send 22” in that case after I sent photos but 🤷‍♀️ easy to say as a bike person

Going from the seller's photo of their head tube? their lugs do look closer together when I compare it to mine (56.5cm seat tube ctc)... so i'd say his is indeed the next size down from my frame....

Well putting it all together my Orbit tourer, with cantilever brakes /531 tubing, is 56.5cm square (ctc) and 15.5cm head tube.
It's a lovely ride, much more sports tourer than - load lugging, heavy tourer, as it encourages you to ride and make a bit more effort and it rewards you for that...

Ok how do we sort this out then? I’ve not bought anything with a middleman before

Thank you for the offer @sjcprojects. I think the closest train station to him is woodhouse which is about an hours walk from his house so it would be a great help
