someone in Cambridgeshire got a bargin...........

You should be logged in to your account at all times and that way 20 seconds would be more than enough

Trouble is, you end up buying lots of stuff you don't want

In the past I've bought a BIN bargain that was too good to miss without reading the description, it was pick up only from Exeter

I know £9.36 isn't very much, but they only go for £50 or less with the original Paul Brodie paint, and I would say that was better value for money.

If it is a 1990 Cinder Cone, it's the first one I've seen with the Rocky Mountain style of seat stay / top tube junction that they used for some Explosifs that year.

I'm the winning bidder of this frame and forks, as far as I can work out the frame is the real deal, original cranks and the seat stay tube does look consistent with a another 90 Cinder Cone.

I found another pic of a 90 in silhouette on here and the seat stay does check out, it's meant to have that little drop on the 16" variants.

Will post better pics of it later.

There's no way I can recreate the splatter effect on my budget so I'll probably just powder coat it white and stick a repro Black/Yellow Joe Murray sticker on the top tube and keep it humble. Maybe a little K on the steerer.

If anyone knows of a period rear wheel or just a rim knocking about i'd be very grateful if you could let me know. I did a search of the classifieds and a couple of shops but have drawn a blank.

Thanks. :)
