Some vintage Suntour parts on Ebay

I bought several wheelsets from that seller (all at once)-he couldn't be bothered to remove the skewers or even let the air out of the tires before he shipped, and acted like it was an act of God to ship across the US. Several arrived with skewers poking out of the box (!). Because he had great feedback, I only briefly checked out the wheels before leaving him positive feedback-big mistake. Wheelsets advertised as 'almost perfect' arrived flat-spotted or out of true, and there was zero padding in the boxes.

Normally I wouldn't bother to make a comment in the forum, but in cleaning and organizing my shop today I realized I STILL have half of the wheels I bought from him-I can't bear to toss them out because I paid decent money and got burned (partially my own fault-the worst part), but I don't have much use for them now either. I was still seething about it, and came across this post, so I decided to flame away.

It's too bad for both of us, really- he was selling some very nice NOS Ritchey decals that I very much wanted to bid on, but after the first experience... no freakin' way!

I still don't feel any better.....

That seller is here on RB, fairly regularly. He goes under a different name here than on ebay, but it slips my mind right now.

Perhaps I can help, I have a couple wheels I can give you for free, if you want to drive down. I can even meet you part of the way. This is if you are in need of a couple wheel, then you can feel liberated to throw out the wheels that don't work.

Though I would suggest cutting down the spokes, and selling the hubs if they are worth anything. Sounds like the rims themselves were dead.
