some things really annoy me.

Cycling at night, cars that don't think they have to dip there lights to cyclists

Get one of those ebay £30 chinese XML-T6 bike lights. They are so bright you don't need to point them down at the ground like you do with normal lights, you can point them straight forward which pisses off on coming traffic no end  . Also the flashing mode is really fast like a strobe light which can be very amusing in busy built up areas because anything reflective like road signs, number plates, the backs of some lorries or vans etc. just flash like crazy, it's like being at the disco  and it stretches on for as far as the eye can see.

Cars with one headlight out that think driving with the other light on full blast is totally acceptable.

I would like to shove their broken bulb right up their ars.....

Just ride around with a pair of 900 lumen pointing high.

I have niterider lamps at 300 lumen and on flashing they just about illuminate just about everything, a few comments from pedestrians over their brightness

Haha! I have a Light and Motion Stella 150 that, despite a comparatively low Lumen count, is easily as bright as my brothers magic shine 1 billion lumen one. I have had cars flash me before, I presume, thinking I am a scooter with full beams on! Rode down a pitch black towpath a little while back at a good pace with the light only on medium!

Adding to this then, drivers who insist on passing cyclists with about 3 inches of gap, just because they hate cyclists and think that we deserve to be hassled off the road. I could just punch their mirrors as they pass sometimes .

2. people with mile long dog leads.

Better that than a dog on no lead at all; I've had a few near misses on that front.

I had this yesterday and the driver had a bike in the back of his car, so really should have known better. If he'd waited for 5 seconds for the oncoming traffic to pass he could've overtaken and left plenty of room.

I'm with VJM on the dog lead thing. They really are invisible at the times when people are usually out walking dogs (early morning/dusk). At least you have a chance of seeing the dog.

Talking of lights, on my commute I have trouble with other cyclists coming the other way with their overbright lights. if it's raining it reflects really badly off my glasses and I have cycled into a ditch before because I couldn't see where I was going. I considered fighting fire with fire but what would that achieve? I even passed someone last night with searchlights on at 5.30 when it was still sunny. Don't understand. Does anyone else?

Haha...so true BB. I used to get cross about it but think it only happens at the weekend, and people are just enjoying themselves...chillax

What do you ride nowadays...we must pass each other sometimes

Voila (quite easy to recognise although I've only just got it, so I doubt you've seen me yet):

There's a guy who rides across the barrage virtually every day with a lovely old ('94-96 era?) Kona Cinder Cone which all looks completely original.. It's obvious that it's a bit of a hack bike though as he hasn't pumped the forks up for over a year!

Oh, I thought this was a "what I hate with RB" type of thread. Which is:

* "Respray! Yes, needs a respray!!"

* "Dibs, I`ve dibbed it and now it`s all mine, muahahahahaha... until I change my mind"

* "Slightly worn paint innit?? Lets respray it"

* "Here is my veryrarestufffromyesteryear, price £3480998"

* "Anything you wanna PX that with?"

And to stay OT, people in cars

I seem to keep reminding people that along the front it's a cycle and pedestrian zone....
That's why we all have bells.
Not little kids bells  trendy bells
