Since retrobike happened to me I've developed a bit of an obsession with 90s Sunns, something I was never afflicted with at the time. I'm up to 3 now, but I think I'll leave it there unless I find a nice orange Duall from the late 90s - that one I did lust after at the time.

So here are mine...

A bit later - frame is a Xircuit Un Frame from 1999

And a roadie for good measure - sometime from the mid-90s I think

So let's see yours...

I think this was a 99, I don't know if anyone can confirm.

Picked up the same Sunn Roader recently. Looks like it's from 1997 going by the serial number (S97xxxx....) and the date stamp on the steerer (08/97). It's got all of the original parts except for the back wheel. I've stripped it and started to clean. Hopefully won't be long until it's up and running.

Here's a shortcut to some Sunn catalogues.

I believe the Vertik is a 99, dont think they're the original forks, still a great looking bike though and the Roader a 97. I know that Sunn were going through that chrome look phase in 1997. Bought a Roader for the wife in 99, it was old stock and i got it for £100. Great little bike and it complimented my Quadrimax ti roadbike very nicely. Damn, wish i still had that bike. Sold my Quadrimax last year as well, damn, still wish i had that. In the process of revitilising my Revolt GP. Link here.

Thanks for that link - the catalogue page for my xchox is way more info that I'd been able to find so far.
