It may not be exotica, but will make people happy.

That Argos with cantilevers is quality and really lovely. A very reasonable "do it all" bike just wanting some TLC is lurking there.

Bristol has loads of great bikes knocking around
It's the opposite of Holland, where everyone says
"great for cycling" but most of the bikes are crap.

I wanted to check the number and style of stamp. Pretty sure it's not though.

Could we have some sharp close ups, drop outs, fork ends, crown, BB, lug's, stays and bridges. Moon on a stick etc

I just don't like hunts wheels. they look fine though..

all modifications sound practical and sensible to me and pretty much what I'd do myself.

I'm not a huge fan either, I rebuild more of those due to broken hubs/corroded nipples/split rims than anything else. They're pretty good with it, providing the parts under warranty and paying for the labour but still it's brought on a dislike for them. Certainly wouldn't buy them despite the cheapness.
