Looks like a Hearth-built Falcon number, but the owner loves it and wants to single speed it for London life.
Luckily they bought a Genesis Advance off us for Bristol.

I had a dawes ascent as my first mtb bought for my birthday in 1988. Was a great bike and did help with strengthening my legs due to the weight ha.

Recently acquired Dawes sardar, 27five wheels from @legrandefromage
Starting to look like the bike it should've been when new

Converted from 26, of are those brake posts functional? The hoops look BIG, but in a good way.

Yes sardars were 26s, but surprisingly tall clearance.
The last one we sorted was onto 700x35s.
This is a smaller frame and should make a nice 631 disc Gravel/tourer for a rider of shorter stature.

The rear bosses unscrewed, but the fronts are one-piece
Just need to find a hipster rack to give them purpose.

You could try using them for V or cantilever brakes, I have my coat....
