Sold twice by us since 2000

In the back there, surely the final pair of those cantis with the grey spring retainers? Looks like the front's been done already

Amazing. How do you know it’s the same bike, do you record frame numbers?
They do survive well the lower order Marins.

"Bike" was the bristol dealer, and the frame has their sticker on it.

Andy and his fellow setup mechanics put the stickers in subtly different locations on the frame, to identify their own work.

I will ask him -
I'm not sure he was unleashed on the front counter often though - the workshop was through the door at the back in those days, the mechanics and sales staff were different iirc
