Some more help identifying parts.

The Stromglight chainset is a Stronglight 80. They were around for a long time; they (with the 100LX) replaced the 99 in the mid - late 80s and were still around in about 2000.

The Sugino chainset is a Sugino  Sorry, I can't tell you any more about it - I remember seeing some. I'd guesstimate late 80s.

I think the hub is a Miche Superfast, but I'm not certain. Like the 80, they were around for quite a while - one of the more basic models.

Thanks man! I thought the stronglight were 80s but the picture on that timeline must have been of a different period or something. Stuck them on my beater anyway, they do the job.

I think the Sugino cranks are a little earlier, Both Sugino and Sakie Royal had similar chainsets. The SR had slightly more lozenge shaped milling in the crank arms than the sugine. My SR chainset is circa 1976/77 and the Sugino might be of the same vintage.

Later on the Sugino had quite a big milled logo on the outside, often with a coloured background. The Sugino also came with cut out crank arms :)
