i paid £60 cash. the fella wanted £80!!! i begged and told him a new chain and cassette was the LEAST of its needy replacements so he helped me out, good man!

60 quid well spent imho

get it built then do the swap out bit as you go
it will be a nice bike
i build it with bits i've got lying about then change as i ride it
saves building it with what you want or buy for it only to find out its crap
do it the other way ,as the bike derserves it you appreciate it

Yes sir that's a 1994 model year catalog you have there and it naturally was copyrighted in late 1993 because it was out before the first of the year. 93 Catalog has a white cover and as you can tell by the picture I posted, it's in landscape format.
