As much as it pains me to sell this, it’s a build that simply isn’t going to happen due to time, funds and logistics. so therefore I am selling my 75% complete Kona Kikapu build.

I want to sell it in one job lot, as breaking it down etc is a pain in the arse. The only things you need to get this up and running is wheels/brakes (obv. tyres/cassette etc)

The frame is a 2005 but in pretty much mint condition, has recently been taken apart, stripped, cleaned, lubed and polished. It is all in grade A condition. Bearings smooth. The only downside is there is a slight kink in the down tube, god knows how it got there, only found out the other day, you can’t see it, and there is no chipping marking to the area, it probably done in storage as I haven’t ridden it yet, TOTALLY negligible, just only fair to point it out though.

It’s a 16” frame but more like a 17” from other brands, would suit anyone from 5’4” to 5’11” (which I am), I tried the frame for size with my other wheels and it’s spot on.

It has all brand new cockpit/forks/cranks and shifters/grips saddle. This has cost me over £350+ recently and receipts for parts shall be provided.

2009 Marzocchi MX Lo forks (new last month from Wiggle)
FSA Moto crankset (new last month from CRC)
Raceface Ride XC stem (new last month)
raceface evolve XC bars
Raceface Evolve XC seatpost (new last month)
Kona Saddle (new last week)
SRAM X7 shifters

Anyway, in order for me to not lose too much money (otherwise I shall keep it) I am asking for £250 ono for the lot (plus 11.99 postage – parcelforce 24hr)

As I said, some wheels (can be had for £65 from Merlin, and some brakes and you have yourself a lovely little full susser ;) which would today cost you ~£1k

PP as gift (or fees covered) however, I would prefer direct bank transfer, I have sold a lot of stuff on here and am 100% honest and genuine, many people will vouch for me.

Reply here or PM if interested, I am stating now that I shall not accept silly 'I'll give you £200" offers this is going to be a great bike when built, sadly, it has had to be shelved. I'd rather keep it than break it down/sell it for peanuts.

PRICE DROP TO £250

POSTED!!!!

Right, for those interested, here is a photo of the 'dink' it's so small and negligible, that the camera can't even pick it up, the only way you know it's there is when you rub your finger over it, it's tiny, I only mentioned it to be fair.

Anyway, here's a picture. It's on the 'N' of Kona, should have made it a 'Spot it' quiz LOL
