SOLD Pending collection - 1980's Muddyfox Courier

Moocow

Retro Newbie
Hi,

up for grabs is my mid 80's Muddyfox Courier.
I bought it about a year ago, refurbed it have been riding it for the last year.
Original thread here - viewtopic.php?t=353367 on how it was when I picked it up.

I rebuilt a lot of it, learnt a lot about cycle mechanics, but the gears have started to jump again under load and I don't have the patience to go through all that setup again.

I retained as much original as I could, opting to rebuild things like the hubs with new bearings and striping and regreasing other parts.
Seat stem is all good and free moving, has had new chain, near enough new tyres (Conti Travel Contacts - I mainly road it on paths rather than offroad), new cables, I ended up with some new pedals as the old ones had remains of toe clips that I couldn't remove. Everything original that could stay remained on the bike - still has the Diacomp brakes, Araya rims, Suntour thumbies, etc.

Basically I would just like it to go to someone who wants to spend a little time with it or salvage original parts or similar rather than chuck in on eBay for a few quid.
It owes me nothing, and has been a great learning experience from the mechanical side of things.

Location is Radstock near Bath (BA3 postcode area) and is for pickup only unless you are very local.
