Nice condition and low mileage all-round - perfect starter bike for a 170-180 cm tall rider.

Colourful frame with few scuffs and good chrome, Tange Champion No.2 double butted tubes, 56 cm top tube with internal cable routing, race geometry. Seat tube is 56 cm to the top or about 55.5 to the center. Stem is 10 cm long and bars are 39/40 cm wide (c-c). Chrome front fork, mostly clean with minor surface rust spots, Tange CrMo. Comes with Wheeler leather seat and still carries original handlebar tape (needs a good scrub)!

Originally marketed with Shimano 600 Tricolore (link to magazine scan), but this bike has been very recently built with full Shimano 105 1050 2x6 groupset top to bottom, including wheelset.

Might need fresh tubes (and tyres - to your preference) and a bit of polishing TLC for the wheels, while the chain is a little bit on the short side for the gearing.

Only looking for £130 plus shipping (well, it sounds really fair to me), but I'm open to reasonable offers.

Thanks, Nikica.

Re:

Hi,

Can I claim provisional dibs on this subject to measuring it up against another of my bikes tomorrow? Can you tell me the top tube length and the stem length please? And any idea of the postage to London? Cheers!

I have a Wheeler Jersey which is too small for me but still fairly large. You can have it if you get the Wheeler bike.

Re: Nice 90's Wheeler Chiostra 7200 56cm - Shimano 105 2x6

Ian, here are some (corrected) measurements:

- 56 cm top tube (c-c) with internal cable routing
- seat tube is 56 cm to the top or about 55.3 to the center
- stem is 10 cm long (or short ) and bars are 39/40 cm wide (c-c)

Manufacturer called it 56 x 56 cm by their measuring standard.

The frame is slightly compact with race geometry, 73.5 degree seat tube and 74 degree head tube.

P.S. How tall are you?

Hope this helps, Nikica.
