For sale is my Motobecane Profil 2 which I have owned since 1983.
It has had very little use and spent most of its life hanging on the garage wall.
There are some scratches and stone chips on it but nothing major. The toe clips are missing and so is the cone cover on the end of the rear spindle apart from that the bike is complete and totally original. However both tyres are perished and will need replacing.
Measurments are:
57cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube.
59cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the tube where the seat post goes in.
Top tube is 57cm center to center.
The frame is 1020 aero tubing, and the forks are marked Fourreaux Haute Stabilite 28-19.
The pedals, hubs and crank are Shimano Adamas. Rims are Weinmann.
BB is Shimano Selecta.
Brakes are also Shimano.
Gears front and rear are Huret.
