SOLD: M950/X517 for disk wheels: PICS ADDED, NOW SOLD

NOW SOLD. Thanks to all who enquired and apologies to anyone that I didn't respond to. I managed to delete my inbox so some messages went unfollowed.

I'd like to sell or part-ex a pair of very nice rim brake wheels for a pair of decent disk-ready or disk-only wheels.

The wheels I have are silver Mavic X517 rims laced onto Shimano XTR M950 hubs (in the usual charcoal grey) with 32 silver 3-cross spokes F&R. The XTR QRs are included and I could probably include tyres/tubes/cassette to make up the deal. Rims are straight and round, hubs are barely marked and even the rims stickers are in good shape - showing the first signs of peeling in places but should stick back down easily. Plenty of rim wall left so these wheels should run for ages yet!

Sale price is SOLD for the wheels only or SOLD incl. tyres/tubes/cassette.

However, I would prefer to part-ex these for a pair of decent, semi-upmarket 6-bolt disk wheels - disk only is best. Most colour schemes considered if you have something a bit groovy. I'm pretty keen on sealed bearing hubs and they'll go on a fairly lightweight XC build so ideally something based on Hope Pro2 or 3, DT Swiss, Bonty RaceLites, Mavic, or even King. I understand of couple that I'll have to put some money into the deal so that's why I said part exchange! If you're interested, let me know what you have and we can see if we can agree a deal.

No real interest for a swap deal so these wheels are now for sale.

I'm looking SOLD for just the wheels. I've based the price on previous sales on here for the same hub/rim combination, where the price has typically started a bit higher and dropped to a round ton - so why not start there!

If you want tyres/tubes/cassette - any combination - then let me know and we'll work out a price. They're currently sporting a Conti Vertical 2.3 up front and Edge 1.9 out back, and standatd Conti 26" tubes. There's a 11-32 9-speed cassette fitted - either Deore or LX, not the XT pictured which has migrated to another wheel - so let's say SOLD including that lot.

I've already had a couple of enquiries via PM so those individuals (you know who you are) are first in line. Postage will be possible at cost (typically a tenner IME) but we all know it's a faff so I'd prefer delivery or collection. I'll be passing through London this weekend on my way to visit family in Aberystwyth, or alternatively can give them to my brother to store in Cardiff.
