I guarantee I'd crash and burn within 2 mins of riding a bike with them fitted........Simply because instead of watching where I'm going, I be looking at the bars.......waiting for them to snap!!!!!

they look to have kevlar running through them,so i think they would be ok.but atleast you see the black carbon splinters in your skin to pull them out
