SOLD!

Finally time to let go of my trusty Colnago CT-1 - one of the best bikes I've ever owned. It's been well ridden and has a few signs of wear - see the detailed photos for more: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ekimeno-s ... 283593611/

For those unfamiliar with this frame - it's titanium main tubing with a one-piece 'B-stay' carbon seat stays/chainstays triangle, giving a buttery smooth ride, but responds magically when putting the power down. One minor downside is the rear brake nut is stuck in the brake bridge, and turns, but not very smoothly. Never was a problem for me when adjusting the position of the brake however. It will likely come out with a bit of penetrating oil.

Comes complete with a 1-inch Colnago Star Carbon fork with plenty of steerer tube, and a Chris King 1 1/8th-inch threadless headset with a shim to fit the 1-inch carbon steerer. Size is 54cm top tube C-C, which was just about right for me at 5'10", fitting fine with a 100mm stem.

Lovely frame! My size... in need of a titanium ut unsur if it should be euro or state produced (nargo or merlin)...

Re: Colnago CT1 frame 54cm c-c

The Van Nicholas ti frames are very nice and hugely underated. My pal clocked up 35k miles on his in the past three years and still looks pristine and elegant :)

Any chance for a swap. Got a very nice De Rosa frame in Columbus Brain (exceptional lugs nice crome) same size 54 cm c-c or a Bontrager Race Lite 17"... or some other stuff that could go into a deal.

Re: Colnago CT1 frame 54cm c-c

Always wanted a De Rosa, but I need at least £300 and some stuff on trade... I'm a wheel-builder so anything wheel-related might be of interest - hubs, rims, tools.

EDIT - should have said - I've offered someone the frame on a 2nd chance offer on eBay this afternoon, so the frame might go away pretty soon... save me from fees!
