It's time for my faithful Fat to go to a new home. Well used from 1994 to around 2000, then occasional use on dry trails for the next 10 years or so, but languishing in the back of the under stairs cupboard since then :?
The original paint didn't stand up too well to regular use, so Argos in Bristol did a respray around '97 and I took the opportunity to change colour. It polishes well and looks great from a few paces away but there are plenty of battle scars. I've taken a few closeups to show some of the chips, scrapes etc. but it's just a sample - there isn't really a tube on the frame that isn't marked in some way.
Please don't buy this frame expecting mint paintwork. There's two or three (very) small areas of surface rust and quite a few tiny ripples in the top coat (too small to photograph), which is where (I assume) it's separating from the primer.
There are no dents and it's straight to the best of my knowledge. This was my pride and joy and, while it saw plenty of use, it's been extremely well looked after and is only a sympathetic respray away from as-new condition.
C/w seat collar, front mech roller and anti-chainsuck plates.
I'd like £350 plus £15 p&p in the UK, please.
