I'm selling this in order to fund a bit more of my STS build...
It's a 1992 Kona Lava Dome, 18".
Mostly original (Project 2s, Impact Headset, Exage wheelset, 500LX mechs, Rapidfire push-push shifters, Suntour cantis with Pedersen Self Energising rear brake, Velocity Stem, Racelight bars in silver as well as the original black ones).
However, it's had a replacement 7 speed cassette fitted (HG50), as well as a flite saddle and a lovely lovely XT M730 chainset which is minty
. It came with a modern Alivio chainset which was replaced with the XT one.
The bike is in absolutely perfect working order. It's lovely and solid with no rattles, knocks or loose bits! Cosmetically it's seen better days, but the paint is still plenty good enough for a daily rider. It has no dings on it anywhere, so it's a perfect candidate for a respray to bring it back to it's former glory
NOTE - The pedals pictured on the bike are NOT included.
Asking:
£100 posted (UK only) for the bike with the Alivio Chainset (plus the 2 sets of spare brake levers, handlebars and Wellgo Pedals)
£130 posted (UK only) for the bike with the XT cranks fitted, as well as the Alivio chainset and all the spare bits mentioned above.
If I sell the bike with the Alivio chainset, then I will sell the XT chainset separately for £40 posted (UK only).
