Have to say, I like Halfords professional tools. The guarantee and them being local and handy is reassurring should you have any problems with them - but they seem to be very well made - and reasonably priced for what they are.

I've had that exact kit for a few years now and it's very good indeed. Sadly the ratcheting spanners are not flexible-headed (which is what makes them REALLY useful) but aside from that, it's about as useful a range of stuff as you're going to fit into one box...

yeah the halfords socket set is about the only thing i would consider buying from there, infact i have bought one in the past as a gift.

The guarantee may sound great but obviously doesn't cover the ratchet, which is the only thing that could really go wrong.

Anyway good quality, nice ratchet if you need a whole set you may as well go for this one. It's always on offer a couple of times a year.
