I haven't exactly seen attack ships off the coast of Mars, but close to it, I've seen some properly impossible stuff, and experienced group hallucinations.

If I see any little green men with Rayguns, I'll read the label more carefully next time

Trouble is, like bikes, all stars are not created equal: many are gas pipe giants, or SSOs (star shaped objects); few have heat-treated metal elements at their core.

But this depends on an understanding of probabilities.

Didn't someone calculate that to fake the moon landing with 250,000 scientists and engineers would have cost more than just going there?
